First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
Merchandiser
I got to the second round, and they said they'd let me know in a few days if I was moving on to the third. After waiting weeks without any word, I pulled my application. Their behavior was unacceptable. I won't be applying to them again.
- Could you tell us about your background and experience?
- What makes you want to apply for this particular position?
Merchandiser
It was a straightforward panel interview where we talked about my past experience and how it fit the job. They went over the role and what's needed, like holiday schedules and busy periods. We also touched on chances for advancement and what the career path might be like if I became an internal hire.
- How does your experience align with the requirements of this position?
Merchandiser
The interview was pretty chill and in-person. The person interviewing me was really nice and easy to talk to. They asked me about my favorite drink and hobbies, along with some standard interview questions. I sent a thank you email and then followed up about two weeks later, but never heard back. I also never found out why I didn't get the job. When I tried calling the office, the interviewer was always busy. It felt really unprofessional.
