First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
Intern
The purpose of this interview is to check for cultural fit and basic qualifications. They’ll usually ask about why you chose Southern Glazer’s, your interest in supply chain/operations, your graduation date and availability (May 18 – July 31), and location flexibility (Miramar HQ). They will also do a resume walkthrough.
- What makes you want to work for Southern Glazer’s?
Intern
I was recruited last year through my college's career fair. The first round was a short interview with standard questions. The second round was a phone call with the manager I would be working with if hired. The whole process took about 3 months.
- What is your understanding of our company?
- Tell me about an instance where you demonstrated leadership in a past role.
Intern
I went to a career fair and had two rounds of interviews, both with behavioral questions. The first round went well, but the second one was really bad. The recruiter didn't even have my resume and asked me some vague questions, including whether I was interviewing with other companies.
- Are you currently interviewing with any other companies you met at the career fair?
