Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
Key Account Manager
The interview process was pretty straightforward. I had an initial call with a recruiter, and they then arranged an in-person meeting with the hiring manager. Instead of meeting at the office, we actually met up at a Starbucks, which made it a bit more relaxed.
- Can you tell me about your experience level in this field?
- How long were you employed at your last company?
Key Account Manager
I drove quite a distance for an in-person interview. Scheduling and the interview itself were smooth and friendly. I sent a thank you email afterwards but never heard back, which felt unprofessional.
- Can you introduce yourself?
Account Manager
It was pretty straightforward, the people were great and asked the typical questions. They mainly wanted to understand you better and check your knowledge about brands and liquor. Make sure you know the basics and do some research on their brands before you go in.
- What are your career aspirations for the next 5, 10, and 15 years?
