First there was a call screening, then an interview with the hiring manager and recruiter where they learned about me and my experience. The second interview was in person with the branch manager and recruiter, and they asked about my sales style and how I handle difficult customers. The third in-person interview was with the VP and recruiter, and it was the same thing but about sales expectations. They really want someone who is a salesman first and an arborist second.

Behavioral Presentation

The process started with a quick 10-minute phone call to go over my resume. The recruiter was super friendly and gave me a good feel for the company vibe. Then, I had an in-person chat that was about an hour long. It felt more like a casual get-to-know-you session than a formal interview. After that, I had to prep a small project for the next interview, which was pretty straightforward. The second interview was another hour-long meeting with the people I'd be working with, and I was thrilled to get an offer at the end of it.

Behavioral Technical Case

I met with the owner, the COO and some other Branch Managers. They are really thorough and ask some pretty in depth people management and team work questions. You can tell they are looking for culture fits.
