First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at South Star Drug.
Internal Controls Manager
The interview process had three stages: initially, I spoke with HR, then the hiring manager, and finally the BU controller. It was a straightforward process, and the interviewers inquired about my background, skill set, and career trajectory. However, the offer extended took an unreasonably long time, nearly a month, which was very frustrating. The HR department was uncommunicative, constantly requesting additional documentation weekly. While I was initially enthusiastic about the role, this experience highlighted internal inefficiencies and unprofessionalism. Recognizing this early on, I declined the offer and decided not to pursue opportunities with this company again.
