First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at South County Health.
Phlebotomist
It was a personable interview with detailed and honest questions about yourself and your expectations. They asked about your availability, punctuality, dedication, and trustworthiness. They also inquired about your past experience with people and whether you are a people person or prefer analysis and data. You must adhere to all HIPAA regulations and be vaccinated and immunized.
- Do you consider yourself a problem solver?
Business Intelligence Analyst
The hiring process was great, I had an initial screening with HR, followed by 2 more rounds. Some of the interviews were on-site and others were via zoom. It was a painless experience compared to other companies. They made sure my background was a good match for the role.
- What kind of dashboards have you built in previous jobs?
PACU RN
It was a really welcoming interview on Tuesday. They gave me the impression they'd hire me and train me, so I agreed to shadow the next Monday. The manager of surgical services said she'd email me the details. I waited two days, then called HR and left a message. The next day, I called the manager, and she sent me to the HR rep. I left another message. She called back promptly and told me they were hiring someone who didn't need training. The process itself was fine, but the followup wasn't great. I didn't like waiting around, thinking I'd be shadowing them on Monday, especially since I found out on Friday. They were nice and receptive overall, and I would have liked to work there.
- Do you have all of your immunizations?
Risk Analyst
It was a two-part interview process. First, I had to go in and talk about my past work experience and how I would apply it to the day-to-day tasks. Then, the second interview involved an analysis of how my experience could be used for the expected workload.
- Can you describe your work experience?
- Tell me about a time you overcame a difficulty.
- What would you do if you encountered an issue and your supervisor wasn't available?
