I got an email asking to set up a time to chat about some of the role requirements as a pre-screen before we'd move on to more reviews and scheduling interviews. That phone screen meeting ended up being an hour long interview though. While this is normal for the field, it was misleading to have been told it was a phone screen. The director talked about the new program and the job, then asked me standard questions about my background and what I'd do in different scenarios to help students.

The interview process was unprofessional. They made misleading comments about what would happen next. The Dean who interviewed me never shared any results, even though it seemed like they were ready to hire me immediately.

The interview process was super smooth, right from the beginning. I got an email to set up the first chat quickly. Then, I had more virtual chats with the team, and finally, I went in person. They kept me updated and answered all my questions really fast. Honestly, it was one of the easiest interview experiences I've had in ages.

After applying, I got an email in under two weeks to set up a Zoom interview with the Library Director and two other staff members. About a week after that, the person who first contacted me asked me to come in for an on-campus interview. This time, two new people joined the three from the Zoom call. The two people who were in person asked most of the questions. I really liked how friendly and helpful everyone was. They let me see where I'd be working, meet someone I'd work with, and they even gave me a tour.
