The whole interview process took about 60 days to complete. There were 6 interviews in total, and the last one involved a presentation to the whole group. The interviews themselves were pretty direct, but honestly, it felt like way too much, they could have just done a panel interview to avoid repeating questions and save a lot of time. It seems like the company really cares more about LEO experience than actual knowledge or skills. If you don't have at least 15 years in law enforcement, I wouldn't bother applying or going through this.

The interview process was lengthy but very pleasant and positive. I had the chance to speak with important stakeholders and team members. Scheduling was flexible. Everyone was really nice. It included both online and in-person components. They did a great job explaining the company, industry, and products. They made the interview experience feel less stressful for me as a candidate.

The interview process was great, it felt more like a conversation than an interrogation. I spoke with multiple people, including the CEO. Even though there were many interviewers, they moved through the process quickly, sometimes scheduling two interviews on the same day.

I had an initial screen call with a recruiter on a Friday, which I thought went well. They mentioned they would schedule a hiring manager call for the following week and to follow up if I didn't hear back. When I didn't hear anything by Monday, I reached out to the recruiter again and was told they'd be in touch soon. I followed up one last time on Tuesday, and the recruiter then set up a quick call for an update. During that call on Wednesday, I was informed they had extended an offer to someone already established in the industry for that position. While I appreciated the personal update, I feel they should have been more upfront about the candidate's advanced stage in the process (which involved about 6 interview rounds) and the low likelihood of the role still being available. Transparency about the hiring stage would have saved me the effort of further follow-ups, as it seemed they were just collecting backups. My suggestion to them is to be honest about where candidates stand in the hiring pipeline and avoid giving false hope when the position is likely filled.
