After I applied, the interviewer messaged me asking for my availability and we set up a 1-hour meeting. It was mostly generic questions, the kind you'd expect from a big company. I got an automated rejection email, which I thought was inappropriate given the time I spent on the interview. The interviewer had emailed me from her personal account, so the rejection should have come from there. A simple thank you would have been better than 'we don't have suitable positions'. It left a bad impression.

The interview process was pretty long, with 5 interviews total. I spoke with people from HR, other designers, engineers, and product managers. It seemed like everyone asked the same questions, which made it feel kind of siloed. Some interviewers were a bit harsh and not super friendly, but others were really great and fun to chat with, especially the team in Berlin.

The interview process involved a Skype call followed by a job-related task. It was a lengthy process, which is common for large companies that get a lot of applications. The communication was good; I was kept updated on what to expect and when. They provided helpful feedback on my design proposal and also asked for my thoughts on the interview itself, which was appreciated. Overall, it was a positive experience, despite not moving forward.
