The interview process with Sound Physicians was really smooth and I didn't feel any stress. They communicated clearly, on time, and professionally. I liked how responsive and upfront they were the whole time. Overall, it was a good experience.

The interview experience began great, but it went downhill as it progressed. I tried to give feedback to leadership, but no one responded after four weeks. A few things I noticed: Don't let tenure be a deciding factor if someone has been at their last job for under two years, as there could be good reasons for leaving, like I had with a personal loss or health issue. Interviewers should be ready for the conversation. It looks bad if they put you on hold to look for your resume. Ending a one-hour interview after only 15 minutes sends a bad signal about how much they care. Never put a candidate on hold to take another call; it's unprofessional.

Avoid this company. I suspect a Covid Kickback pretend hiring Spree. I was highly qualified for this role. I got contacted via LinkedIn only to be strung along on multiple interviews consisting of 7 people. They even requested 5 references fill out 5 mins surveys. In the end, the recruiter went on vacation. She came back only to tell me they went with "another" applicant. I checked in 2 times asking for an update prior to her vacation. After exhausting my references and several interviews, there was no point to have me wait 3 weeks for feedback. The whole process was 2-3 months long. Again if you dont want to be strung along for months, avoid this company

The one-hour on-site interview was extremely positive. There were 2 phone screens and 1 on-site interview total. The phone screens showed a lack of experience on the part of the two recruiters I spoke with. I asked a lot of clarifying questions and some of the questions were repeated from one phone screen to another, both by their company recruiters, not a hiring manager. I felt this demonstrated a lack of preparedness. I also sensed that the recruiters were just sort of thrown at this role without a lot of training or expertise. They never even had the courtesy to follow up on the interviews.
