I applied online, and then HR got in touch. After that, I had 3 interviews over Zoom, and they got back to me super fast. They asked normal interview questions and really seemed to value my past experience in the field. It felt more like a chat than a tough interview.

Applied online and had an interview at the New York office about a week later. The atmosphere was very 'Devil Wears Prada'. The recruiters were super thorough and really dug into my resume. I expected a lot of in-depth questions about my work history, but also about my hobbies, school grades, future plans, and even my art preferences. The interviewer seemed a bit distant and by the end, it was clear I didn't have a chance because they favored internal candidates who had 'absolute preference'. It felt like I was just there for legal reasons, and they already planned to hire someone from within. It happens! Still, it was a useful experience that will help me in future interviews.

The whole process took ages, over two months. Every time I followed up, I just got the same old "we're super swamped right now" excuse. The HR person kept trying to make the job sound terrible, saying it was really basic and would bore anyone. Honestly, hiring isn't really her strong suit. By the end, I wasn't even interested anymore.
