It started with an email, then a 45m phone call, followed by a 2.5hour CoderPad project with files. After that, there was an in-person meeting with some tech people, the CTO and risk manager for the final round. Apparently, I got ghosted.

I applied through the campus recruiting portal and got selected for the first round of interviews. The interview was conducted on campus with two employees. The interviewers were not particularly friendly and seemed to expect me to have a deep understanding of the private equity process from their specific perspective. The interview was quite short, only about 20 minutes. Unfortunately, I didn't advance to the final round after the initial interviews.

The company was very punctual in responding. First, there was a 10-minute interview. Then, a week later, they offered a full interview that lasted over two hours. They really like candidates with a working knowledge of finance and ask questions that force you to think on the spot. They test you on industry knowledge.
