The interview wasn't too bad and went well for me. I described all my techniques, and they seemed very pleased to hear about them. I was happy too, and we figured out the best way for us to collaborate.

A month after I applied and was told they weren't hiring in my area, I got an email to finish my application. I figured they must be hiring now! First, I had to upload my massage license, driver's license, and insurance. I wasn't massaging currently so I didn't have insurance, but I bought some since I thought this job would work out because of my experience and skills ($200). Then, I had to upload a picture of my massage setup: table with linens, speaker, table bag, another bag for other stuff, professional lotion, pillows, bolster, face cradle, and massage chair. This meant digging my table out of the attic, buying new linens and lotion, getting a bluetooth speaker, and buying another table bag since I lost mine in the move ($300). After that, I had to do a video interview with provided questions, dressed professionally. I did my hair, makeup, and recorded my answers using my webcam and microphone. I figured they wouldn't have me do all this unless they were likely to hire me. But, just after I submitted the interview, they emailed saying they still aren't hiring in my area! What a waste of my time and $500. I won't be contacting them again if they reach out.

This is an American company, and they have a formal interview process. Make sure you have all your documents ready. The atmosphere is friendly but professional. You don't need to bring your own massage table, but you do need to bring everything else. First, there's a one-on-one interview where they ask about your background and education. After that, you'll need to give a short but complete massage treatment, from start to finish. That was it. The interview felt professional compared to others I've experienced.

The HR Generalist first reached out via email, then we had a phone screening interview. Following that, I had an in-person interview with the HR Generalist and the Director of Operations (D.O.). During the interview, we discussed the job description, the company's mission, my knowledge of the company, and my resume. The D.O. then posed some case-scenario questions to assess my suitability for the team. Overall, the company seems great, and the people I met were very friendly, open, and genuine.
