First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Soofa.
Customer Support Specialist
The first phone screen with HR went really well and the interviewer was very nice. I moved on to the next round to meet with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was late to start the interview, barely showed any interest, and kept checking her Apple watch. I also could tell that she was multitasking on her computer the entire time during the interview. She said I would hear back except I ended up being ghosted by them. Do not waste your time applying for any of the roles in this company if you do not want to be ghosted. There are reviews left on here from former employees about their poor experience working at Soofa. Which ended up being true based on this experience and it raises a HUGE red flag about this company.
- How do you handle managing your projects?
Operations Manager
It was a pretty standard interview process. Started with an HR screen, then a panel interview, followed by a meeting with the hiring manager, and finally, an offer. The hiring manager showed obvious disgust when I asked for a higher offer, which was 37k less than my current salary. They also tried high-pressure tactics, asking if I'd accept their offer on the spot if they could meet a certain number. It was annoying that after four weeks of interviewing, I only had 24 hours to accept or decline. I declined to maintain a good relationship, but I doubt that will happen.
- Can you describe your experience working with external customers?
Intern
I applied for a student internship a few years back. The hiring manager reached out to schedule an interview, but then I was ghosted. They never responded again, which was weird since they initially seemed interested. I would have preferred a rejection over being left hanging. It felt unprofessional, like this wasn't a dating situation.

Customer Service Manager
The process was fine. I spoke with a recruiter for about 30 minutes. The conversation was really friendly and good. I didn't get a second interview, but it was a good experience overall. I'd be interested in interviewing again later.
