I arrived on time for my interview but ended up waiting for about an hour before meeting anyone. The manager seemed rushed and only asked a few basic questions, which made me feel like I wouldn't get the job, and I was correct.

The manager at the location I interviewed at was very straightforward but likable and understanding as well; I was nervous and kind of stumbled over my words a couple of times but as long as you are well-dressed, somewhat well spoken and stress that you’re dedicated and hardworking, you’ll get it. I got the job but ended up ultimately not working there due to scheduling issues.

The interview process was quite brief and took place outdoors. The manager asked about three standard interview questions, but most of her inquiries were for information needed to complete hiring paperwork. It seemed like they were eager to hire anyone, even though I left feeling unsure about getting the job. The manager was focused on writing things down, so it wasn't a stressful interview, lasting around 10 minutes. I don't recall applying for the role; I received a call out of the blue for an interview, suggesting a delay of a month or more in reviewing applications. During the interview, I was asked if I could skate, and I said no. She then mentioned they were looking for carhops, despite the job board advertising for a crew member. The advice is to say no if asked about skating unless you specifically want the carhop role, as they don't skate at this particular location. I just didn't want to be running around outside.
