After I applied, someone from the company got in touch a day or two later. We had a brief phone screen where they asked about my history and what I was hoping to find in a new job. They said they'd check with the hiring team and let me know. I sent two follow-up emails, but never heard back. Super unprofessional.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

My interview process started in January with initial calls with Brad Costello and then another person named Johnathan. Because of my prior experience, I was then invited to interview with another manager, and I thought that went well. Two weeks passed, and I hadn't heard back, so I emailed both the manager and Brad, as I was interviewing for both teams. I didn't get a reply. I ended up calling Brad, and he said he'd get back to me and that I'd be interviewing for his team. Another two weeks went by, and then I received information to meet with someone else. After that, I started calling and emailing again, but still no response. This was frustrating because we follow each other on LinkedIn, so I could see Brad saw my messages but ignored me. The process began in January, and it's now March. Later, I had interviews with the CEO and another person on the same day. I sent a follow-up email the next week and the week after, but heard nothing. I called the recruiter, Cameron, and she assured me she'd get back to me, but again, nothing. I was confused because everyone involved was posting on LinkedIn about hiring. I left voicemails and kept reaching out to everyone in the process. I felt like they were deliberately ignoring me. Finally, in the second week of April, I used my business number to call, and Brad told me they decided to go with someone else. He offered no apology for the lack of communication. I had been interviewing since January, consistently reaching out, and felt ghosted, ignored, and strung along. I didn't appreciate being mistreated, and if I hadn't called from an unrecognized number, I would still be in the dark. It's discouraging, and while I have nothing negative to say about the individuals—our personal conversations were great and everyone was kind—it felt like a sick joke coming from a company that emphasizes communication and even told me I wouldn't be ghosted. I remained hopeful for over three months. This experience, especially during a layoff, was a bit traumatic, and I can't understand why. It's truly discouraging as I try to stay motivated. Even when I called on my business number, there was no apology for the time I invested. I'm sure some people might see it as 'you win some, you lose some,' but this is about the mistreatment of interviewees, not the jobs themselves.

I talked to a recruiter at a job fair and then submitted my resume. A few weeks later, I had a good talk with someone where we went over my background and experience. Things were going well until there was a big gap in communication, going from days to weeks. During that time, I got an offer from another company for a different job and took it. Sadly, they didn't keep in touch after that.

The company has a really cool vibe and the people were friendly. The office space was great - felt professional but also laid-back with things like bean bag chairs. If you get offered the job, I'd definitely recommend taking it.
