Standard application process. First was a short call with a recruiter to determine suitability, then a short maths based assessment, after which I was invited to attend the assessment centre. There was a short, introductory Teams meeting beforehand. On the day, there were individual interviews (with two senior employees and one with a HR representative), a few group activities and numerous discussions/icebreakers. It wasn’t hugely technical/insurance focused - it was mostly your interests, previous skills and applicable experience. Everyone was very friendly (the other graduates and the interviewers) and accommodating. The only downside was that they did not provide any feedback afterwards which was a little disappointing as it was quite a small group and there was only one assessment day.

Behavioral

The interview process was very professional. They were always clear about what the next steps would be and gave specific timelines for when I'd hear back. It involved one interview with HR, then one with the Hiring Manager, followed by an interview with the COO, and finally back to HR for the offer.

Behavioral Technical

It was a three-stage process. First, an HR call focused on my coursework and previous experiences, which was behavioral. Second, I had a call with a senior VP where they went through my resume in detail and asked more technical questions, especially about bond markets since it's an insurance investment fund. Third, another session with a senior VP, also grilling my resume and using behavioral questions to gauge if I was the right fit for the internship, after I had already shown my technical capabilities.

Behavioral Technical

Had an initial chat with a recruiter. A few days later, I was offered an interview with the hiring team, which included people from the UK and US. The interview seemed to go well, but a red flag went up when they mentioned the previous person didn't realize how much work was involved. I thought you weren't supposed to bring up negativity from either side. I was also told that you stay until the job is done, which I thought was just common sense, but combined with the previous comment, I started to wonder why. I never heard back from the recruiter or the company about a second interview.
