Somewhere's interview process was really smooth and efficient. After I made my profile, they found me a client opportunity that fit my skills and what I was looking for. They kept me updated on what to expect and when. I had an initial screening call, then interviews with the client's team. It was great because Somewhere gave me good info about the role and what the interviews would be like, so I felt prepared. The whole thing moved fast and they were always clear about where things stood. They clearly care about both the candidates' and the clients' time.

The interview process usually has a clear structure, but it can vary a bit depending on the company, position, or industry. Here's a typical flow: 1. Welcome and Small Talk (about 5–10 minutes) Friendly welcome from the interviewers. Short small talk to ease the mood (e.g., your journey here, the weather, coffee). Introduction of who's present (their function, role in the company).

I had two calls with senior recruiters from Somewhere, and they both went well. My profile was then sent to clients along with a 3-minute video intro about my work history related to the job. After that, an interview with the client is set up. For my first client interview, it was cut short because my profile wasn't a good fit. I'm not sure how my profile was presented to them, maybe it was a recruiter mistake, but they didn't explain. For the second client, the screening call was good, and I was told my profile would be shared. However, I was ghosted afterwards. After following up three weeks later, I was told there was no feedback and I just had to wait. I never heard back. I was communicating with the recruiters weekly, but there was not much engagement, and my application has been stuck.

After feeling positive about how the interview went, I was ultimately ghosted by the recruiter. The recruiter was quite slow to respond and kept delaying things. Even though the final interview with the client and the assessment itself went really well, the recruiter took their sweet time responding and then just stopped replying altogether.
