The process usually starts with a screening, then technical or behavioral rounds to check for fit. Candidates will demonstrate their skills through conversations and tasks. It ends with checks and references, then a final decision - all to make sure the right talent gets matched with the company's needs.

Patient Health Advocate
It was pretty chill, not super formal. First up was a phone call, then two video interviews. Each time it was just me and one interviewer. They made me do a typing test and another assessment, and I got the results right away. Then came a background check, and they sent me for a physical exam, making sure my vaccinations were all up to date.
- What makes you want to join Somatus?
Quality Manager
Overall, it was a really good experience. The whole process felt organized and moved quickly. The recruiter and hiring manager kept me updated. I liked that the interviewers seemed to know the role well and were ready for our chats. What really stood out was how the team cares about making patient outcomes better and building a culture of responsibility and new ideas. The talks felt more like working together than being tested, and I left feeling pretty good about how I might fit in.
- What's your background in regulatory compliance?
- Can you share your experience with continuous quality improvement initiatives?
- Describe your approach to audit readiness.
Data Scientist
So I went through two interviews and then got ghosted. First, two VPs were supposed to interview me but didn't show up. The third person wasn't even sure why they were interviewing me. For the second interview, which was technical, the recruiter said she'd send over details about the format. I followed up after two days but got no reply. On the day of the technical interview, my interviewer was 20 minutes late and asked if I'd gotten the prep stuff from the recruiter, which I hadn't. The interview went on, and I was asked to define some vocab words. Overall, I felt the interview process didn't let candidates show their strengths and foreshadowed poor communication, which is pretty wild for a fully remote company.
