The interview process was excessively long. The interviewers seemed to lack understanding of the technical aspects of the job description. There were 5 interviews for a struggling company with very poor Marketing. The candidate was expected to teach, but the interviewers were not receptive or understanding. The interviewers appeared too senior for the role, lacking the necessary skills to perform the job themselves.

It was an interview for the unpaid course on JavaScript and React that they hold mid-year and end-of-year. The interview was 100% in English. First, they explained what the course was about and how it worked. Then, I gave a presentation about myself and my experience. They asked if I had available time because the course is very intensive. At the end, they asked if I had any questions for them. I recommend preparing several questions to show interest in the company; never say you don't have any questions.

I started as a Front-End Trainee, and the whole thing was super organized and friendly. First, there was a learning part where we got the basics of front-end dev with React. After that, we did a team project to use what we learned. During the learning phase, I had quick chats with my mentor after each part, kind of like mini tech checks on that topic. They were always chill and professional, making it easy to learn without stress. Then, after the team project, there was a final technical interview. That went well too – the interviewer was cool, asked straightforward questions, and let me explain my thinking. Honestly, it felt more like a learning experience than a test. It showed they really want to help junior devs improve.

So an HR person hit me up about a job, and then over the next 4 business days, I had 4 interviews. They told me the last one was gonna be the final one. Then, they went silent for 2 weeks. After that, they said the project fell through but they had another client needing someone similar and asked if I'd interview with them. I did 2 more interviews, and then the HR person said they'd talk internally about an offer and let me know the same day. I guess I didn't get it since they ghosted me again, ignoring my messages and emails. I ended up taking another job. The interviews themselves were alright, some good, some okay, they just don't really communicate if they're not moving forward with you.
