Technical Coding

It was a one-way interview first, then they asked about my project experience and gave me 2 basic coding questions, like palindrome and rotate array. Since I solved them easily, they gave me one more question to count character frequency in a string. After that, I was given an assignment. I never heard back after the assignment, and I don't know what I did wrong.

Technical Coding Behavioral Presentation

First a screener call, then they talked about benefits, then several online tests, one for math/logic, one for Java skills, and one for behavioral stuff. After that, I had an interview with the recruiter where they asked questions and recorded my answers. Then came a take-home project that took me about 10 hours, though it could take less or more depending on experience. Finally, there was a 2-hour interview with lead engineers involving coding exercises and a review of my take-home project. The recruiters and developers were great, very down-to-earth and friendly, but having to put in so much effort upfront was tough.

It was a pretty standard interview process. First, a recruiter called me. Then, the HR manager interviewed me. After that, they forwarded my resume to their client for the final interview, which I think went well.

Had an initial phone call with the recruiter, then a call with the client, followed by an onsite interview with the client. The recruiter met me there and did a good hand-off after introducing me to the client. He also gave good info about the contract job requirements and client expectations.
