Customer Success Manager
The interview process for the CSM position felt like a scam. I got an email for an interview, but it wasn't from a recruiter, which was a red flag. Throughout the first two rounds, I repeatedly asked about salary, requirements, and compensation, but was always told someone would discuss it later, which never happened. I made it to the third round and was given a take-home assessment that they said would only take a few hours, but it ended up taking me 10 hours. The assessment had really specific questions and customer success scenarios that were all over the place and unclear about what was being judged. I realized it was just a way for them to get free labor and information. I thought my presentation was amazing and they agreed, but then I got a weird rejection email saying they were looking for stronger sales and expansion experience, which was never mentioned before. It wasn't brought up in any of the calls, the assessment, or the job description on their website. It was also clear they don't know how LinkedIn works because the job had been posted for over 9 months with very few applications. Total waste of time.

Product Manager
It was a long 6 stage process. Started with a screening, then HR, then product 1, a case study, product 2, and finally management. They kept changing the job title and description throughout, which made it seem like they weren't sure what the role should achieve or what the product actually is. It took months of back and forth.

Frontend Developer
Got reached out by the company on Linkedin and had a screening call. They talked about the next steps but then, not even 15 minutes after, I got a generic rejection email. Honestly, feels disrespectful of my time and a big red flag.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience?
- What kind of technologies are you familiar with?
Customer Success Manager
The interview was quick, to the point and professional. All the parts of the interview (First contact, Team leader chat, COO/CEO chat) were very smooth and with specific next steps and timeline.
- Can you describe a past job challenge you overcame?
