It was a really smooth process! They asked direct questions and I met with the people I'd be working with closely. Make sure you're ready to talk about how much wet lab work you've done from your past experiences. They were really clear about the job's responsibilities, I'd definitely recommend this place!

Had three rounds during the interview process. Round 1: HR Screening -> Pretty average HR call, asked me about my previous experience working with cell culture and mammalian cells. Round 2: had a call with 2 scientists within the department who I would be working under. Gave me two situational questions, and asked me more about my lab experiences. Round 3: had 6, 30 minute interviews with many members of the team, was pretty basic no technical questions asked. Know your resume well.

I applied cold and the whole thing took 8 weeks. First I talked to a recruiter, then the hiring manager, and then they invited me for an on-site interview. The on-site itself was kind of a mess and not well put together. They also put my presentation at the very end of the day instead of the beginning. One person was 20 minutes late for our 30 minute chat, and two people were totally remote. The lunch order HR was supposed to place for me never happened, so the hiring manager gave me theirs. There were also repeated A/V problems. Three weeks after the interview, I got an email from HR saying I didn't get the job because they found people who "better" fit the role.

I had a great experience during the first round of interviews. It was smooth, and the interviewer was professional and approachable. Most questions were behavioral, focusing on past experiences, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork. The interviewer seemed genuinely interested in understanding my background and how I approach different situations. Overall, it was a positive and comfortable conversation.
