Behavioral Technical

I had 3 interviews, one with HR and the other 2 with Product Managers. They moved fast and I got good feedback throughout. However, after the final interview, I was ghosted despite following up about 3 times. I had to make a decision about relocating with my family to Spain or Germany, as I had another offer. I needed a final answer, yes or no. The first HR person left the company, and it took time for a replacement, leaving me in limbo for 2 weeks. The new HR person then went on holiday for 2 weeks with no one else handling candidates. The third time, after 2 follow-up emails, the new HR person completely ignored me. I even emailed one of the Product Managers I interviewed with, and got the same silence. I don't get why it's so hard to just send a final email saying candidates didn't pass. It's not okay to ghost people and leave them wondering if an offer is coming. People need to make life-altering decisions for themselves and their families. HR, just send a quick message: 'Sorry, you're not a fit, maybe next time!' Stop ghosting people!

So, I had an initial screening call, and after that, they asked me to do an aptitude assessment. It was a bit strange getting asked for that with over 12 years of experience, but I did it over the weekend. Then, the very next day, they emailed asking me to do it again, so I had to spend another Sunday on it. After that, I tried following up with HR multiple times, but they never told me my status, so I just stopped chasing them and looked elsewhere. It's really disappointing when you can't even get an update after politely asking.

There was an initial uncomfortable video recording session, which was followed by a first interview. The interview included several technical and non-technical questions. I think the process could be improved for a more structured approach.
