Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Solar Turbines.
Software Developer
I received an email to schedule a call with the hiring manager. The manager already had my resume and didn't ask any follow-up questions before the interview. The audio during the interview was terrible, making it hard to hear. The hiring manager started by mentioning that no school or degree was listed on my resume. Once I told them I didn't have a degree, they ended the call. This whole process was a waste of my time, as I took time off my current job for this interview.
- Do you have a degree?
Software Engineer Intern
The interview lasted about an hour. It was super in depth. The interviewers were really nice and easy going. Made the process more bearable. Overall, the interview questions can get a bit difficult, so it's better to prepare.
- Can you share a challenge you faced in your current role that relates to the position you're applying for?
