Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Solairus Aviation.
Dispatcher
The whole process from beginning to end took a really long time to get an offer. The person interviewing me was really nice and the interview itself was pretty easy. It just dragged on for ages from start to finish.
- How would you manage in high-pressure situations
Flight Dispatcher Assistant
I got a call where they asked me about my background. It felt more like a chat than a formal interview. All in all, it was a good experience.
- Tell me about your experience relevant to this role.
Flight Coordinator
I had a phone interview with Solairus. It's disappointing when potential employers interview you and then don't communicate a hiring decision. Applicants/candidates interact with a company and may refer customers to them, even if they aren't hired. Not informing candidates of a hiring decision and ghosting them when they follow-up is disheartening and reflects poorly on their customer service. Solairus would likely reply if a candidate wanted to book a charter flight, but they ignore inquiries about hiring decisions. I'm not the only applicant who's experienced this. I hope Solairus will consider informing applicants of their hiring decisions in the future.
- Can you explain how your past experience relates to this position?
Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor
They grill you to see how low of pay you will take so they can make money off you by charging the owners one price and keeping the difference versus the salary they offer you.
- What is your desired salary range
