The interview process was pretty standard at first, but they had this weird thing where they didn't ask for my availability and just sent invites with an .ics file instead of a Google Calendar invite. I've talked to over 100 companies and never had one not check my availability first. I got an invite from a salesperson and an HR person at the same time, which was odd since HR usually only shows up around the offer stage, not during final interviews. They also use some messaging system that sends you an email but doesn't let you reply, and after I didn't know they weren't getting my messages, I reached out through other ways and they just ghosted me, even after giving me a lot of positive feedback. Also, the pay was lower than the market rate and they used a healthcare reimbursement thing.

The company seemed unsure about what they were looking for, possibly seeking free work or just collecting resumes. I interviewed for a senior marketing role and went through 11 interviews over 2 months, not counting several no-shows. The hiring manager also required me to complete a project to prove my skills. This project involved revamping an old vertical marketing document and suggesting ways to make money from new services that hadn't been released yet, including market data and references. It took a lot of research and time, and I presented it to a panel. After the presentation, they mentioned needing to fill the role quickly and scheduled a final interview for the next week. Then, they ghosted me. After a few weeks, the HR rep said they were still gathering feedback. Months later, the position was still advertised.

Technical Coding System Design
