First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sofo Foods.
Truck Driver
The interview was nice. The interviewer was very upfront about the work loans and schedule. We had some like-minded conversations and overall it was a great interview. The company does require manual labor and you will have to stay out occasionally, which I have no problem with.
- Can you lift objects and unload a truck?
General Manager
I first spoke with a recruiter. Then I went in for an interview with one of the owners and the senior vice president of operations. We stayed in the conference room for the interview. I felt like the owner and I were on the same page. They had some concerns about work ethic at their facility and how I would handle it, but I think they accepted my answer. After that, I followed up with the recruiter for several months. Eventually, they told me they offered the job to someone else.
- Could you tell me about your management style?
- How would you address concerns regarding work ethic at our facility?
Sales Associate
The process was professional and courteous. They seem to be looking for career-oriented individuals with a proven track record. It's a good company with good outlook. Recommend getting in on the ground floor at a young age. They seem to promote from within.
- What are your goals?
- What are your pay requirements?
- Do you have any non-compete agreements?
Warehouse Associate
I had a chat with someone and then went through a drug screening. They seemed really keen to know if I could work overtime, which I was, but it turned out to be more than I anticipated at the time.
- What is your availability?
- Are you able to work overtime?
