Had a 30-minute recorded recruiter call on camera. Then I talked to the hiring manager. After that was a super day with five 30-minute back-to-back interviews with the team. Lastly, I had a 30-minute to 1-hour interview with leadership.

Behavioral Technical

I had an initial call with a recruiter and then a call with the hiring manager. The hiring manager didn't think I was the right fit for that specific role but mentioned he'd pass my info along to a colleague who was also hiring PMs. I didn't expect to hear back, but the next day the recruiter emailed to invite me onsite. The office is in a nice spot in the Presidio. I interviewed onsite with 7 people over 4 hours, including the other hiring manager. The hiring manager was the only one who replied to my post-interview thank you email, which I really appreciated. I didn't get an offer, but they told me within 2 days, so I wasn't left waiting. They were very responsive and professional throughout.

Case Case Presentation

Had a recruiter screen, then a case study with the hiring manager, and another case study with leadership. Most of the interview time, like 90%, was on the case study, and I only spoke about myself and my experience for less than 10% of the time, with some questions at the end. I didn't do great on the case study, and it was hard to answer questions about Disney world and grocery stores when I'm applying for a Fintech role and have 10 years of fintech experience. It felt like they wanted people with MBA degrees or from big tech companies who have gone through this type of interview process before, rather than people with experience directly relevant to the job.
