It was a 3 step interview process, with a video/slide presentation at the end. The first interview was mostly a get-to-know-you chat, and the second was mainly to test my know-how and knowledge.

I applied for a job and got an email from the Talent Acquisition Director to schedule an interview. I replied to confirm and schedule but got no response. I noticed the role had been open for a while and the agency lacked diversity, but I prepared anyway. On the interview day, the interviewer never showed up. After 15 minutes, I emailed to check if they were coming but received no reply. It seems like the talent management team might just be going through the motions. Even if they decided to go with someone else, they should have communicated. Their treatment of candidates is unacceptable, especially in this job market. Companies like this shouldn't be recruiting.

Technical Presentation

Applied online and got an initial interview setup call within a few days to discuss my background. Then, I had a second interview with the director of paid search. This second interview involved a live Excel assessment where I had to build a PPC campaign. The challenge was the time constraint and the number of questions asked during the assessment, which felt unrealistic as this doesn't happen in real-world campaign builds. After that, I was ghosted. It was a joke of a company, and I don't recommend applying.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I got referred and the interview process had 3 steps. First, they wanted to chat and see if I knew about KPIs. Then, a technical interview checked my Google Sheets skills, specifically calculating CVR, CTR, and CPA. The last interview involved giving an 'About Me' presentation to the team and a co-founder. It took a really long time. I didn't get an offer, but I would've passed anyway because the team seemed disorganized. Pro tip: if a job has been up for 1-2 months on LinkedIn, don't bother applying. They're probably just using it to get feedback on interviews, not to actually hire someone.
