First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Society Insurance.
File Clerk
You'll first do a phone interview, then they'll invite you for an in-person one. The phone part is mostly about talking about your past jobs. The in-person one digs deeper into that and asks stuff about the work environment. Each one is about 20 minutes long.
- What drives you to do your best work?
- How did your previous employer view your work ethic?
- Rate your teamwork abilities on a scale of 1 to 10.
Claims Representative
The staff were nice and welcoming. They asked good questions and answered my questions well. It was easy to talk about the job and they were informative. The HR recruiter was good with communication, sending emails and calling on time, and was clear about the process.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you encountered and how you managed it?
Business Analyst
Got contacted by HR within 2 days of applying online. They were nice and engaging. The phone screen was simple and fast. Got a decline notice in 4 days, but HR still took extra time to give me feedback, which I thought was really great.
- What experience do you have?
Underwriter
It was a group interview where they asked a lot of questions about my past experience and hypothetical situations.
- Tell me about a time you had to deal with an unhappy customer and what steps you took to resolve the issue.
