Account Manager
3 Round Interview: #1 - Meet with HR. This is your standard "getting to know you interview". You talk about your experience, why you're interested in the role and company, etc. Interviewer tells you more about the company and role and asks standard questions about availability, salary requirements, etc. #2- Data set. You have 48 hours to complete questions based on a provided data set. The questions are set up so that they low-key test your knowledge of Excel. Pivot tables. #3- 4 Person Interview. 30 minutes each. Talk to 4 different current employees. They're all mostly looking for the cultural fit. You discuss your data set in one of the rounds as well. What you liked, what was hard, etc. Overall: Super conversational. If you can talk about your experience in a way that applies to the position you're all set. Open forum to ask questions right back as well. Also some standard behavioral questions about working on a team. Study the company. Know the industry.
- Tell me about a common misconception people have about you.
- How do you work with others in a team setting?
- What makes you want to work for this company?
Partner Manager
The interview process was really professional but also felt friendly. It started with a quick HR screening call, then a longer phone interview (also with HR). After that, I got an assignment to pull key insights from a mock Facebook campaign. It was a bit tedious and took a few hours, but honestly, it's cool that SocialCode makes candidates do this because it gives you a real preview of what you'd be doing as a Partner Manager there. The last step was an in-person interview at the office where I met with three different team members individually.

Business Development Manager
I had an interview scheduled that the interviewer never showed up for. An hour past the interview time, I got an email saying a meeting ran over, but they were on a hiring freeze and would follow up later. Three months later, I heard about the same job through a networking group and connected with the outside recruiter. Interview scheduled. No formal invite, so I confirmed the night before. No answer. The day of the scheduled interview, I got a message saying recruiting was going in a different direction and I needed to apply via the job site. I’m qualified? Definitely. In today’s climate (pandemic, racial tensions), the lack of professionalism and courtesy is unacceptable. Won’t expand more than that but clearly removing this company from my list.

Instructional Designer/Technical Writer
They asked me for samples first. Then, I had a recruiter phone screen, followed by a brief chat with the hiring manager. After that, it was an on-site interview. Finally, there was a quick call with a higher-up division leader. They kept me in the loop the whole time and made me feel really included. The on-site was great - nice office, friendly people, felt right at home.
