I had a recruiter screener and thought it went well, they seemed impressed. They said they'd get back to me in a few days but I never heard anything. I followed up a bunch of times and still nothing. Super unprofessional. I did ask about the bad Glassdoor reviews during the interview, and they told me a new HR team came in and fixed things up, making it more collaborative. But based on this interview experience and the silence, I'm not so sure that's true.

This was probably the most blindsiding interview experience I've ever had. They rescheduled twice on the day of, and it ended up taking over a month. In the final interview out of three, they told me I didn't meet the criteria because I lack marketing or social media experience. This was despite me being told they needed different verticals and didn't require social media experience for a sales role, where I have 5 years of experience. They concluded the call by saying it wasn't a fit.

I had 1 call and 2 video calls (one with HR and two with Senior Campaign Managers). On the day of my 3rd interview, they told me they'd already offered the job to someone else. Then they offered me the same job as a contract role or a different role entirely. I declined the different role but expressed interest in the contract position. After a week, I followed up, and they said they were still figuring things out and would let me know. I haven't heard back since. My advice? Just send a simple decline email; it's common courtesy and leaves a better impression of your brand.

I submitted an application online and then the General Manager reached out to set up a phone chat for the following week. She had emailed me earlier to let me know the job duties had changed and wanted to chat to see if I would be a good fit for this new direction. The GM was really professional and knew her stuff; she had a clear vision for the company's future and I learned a ton from her. In the end, we decided the new role might not be the best fit for me.
