First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SoCal Premier Marketing.
Representative
Everything was pretty straightforward. I didn't have to wait to be interviewed. The admin made me feel welcome while I filled out the paperwork. Then I got to meet the CEO, Damar Hill, which was great. He clearly explained what the business does and then we moved on to a second round. In the second round, he laid out exactly what they're looking for and what the company offers. Finally, the last interview was all about seeing how much info we could gather while keeping things fun.
- Can you introduce yourself?
Marketing
I applied online and the process was super fast and really organized. First, I had a face to face interview with the CEO to get to know me. Then, I was lucky to have a second interview where I learned more about the company and really liked the culture. The manager interviewing me was super detail-oriented and I felt like I got a good sense of the growth opportunities. The very next day, I had my third interview. This time, I got to see their day-to-day, joined their morning meeting, and worked with the whole team. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, with tons of energy! I can totally see myself not just having a job here, but a real career.
- What are some of your personal or professional goals?
Marketing Associate
It took them about 2 days to get back to me. The first interview was mostly about them getting to know you, asking the usual 'tell me about yourself' type of thing. If they liked you, they'd have you go through a second interview where you learn more about the role. Turns out it's some kind of pyramid scheme where you start off in sales and get promoted to lead and eventually can 'own your own business.' Just saying, marketing and sales are not the same thing. Their job postings are totally misleading.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Corporate Trainer
We start with 3 rounds to make sure the candidate meets our standards and learns the training first. We really want to get to know the person applying for the role!
- Are you a competitive person?
- Do you like working in a team or on your own more?
