The interview process moved quickly. Everyone involved was well-organized, supportive, and accommodating. I met with leaders from both product and engineering. There was a take-home assignment that wasn't too demanding, which I then had to present to the group in a supportive setting.

It took Snyk several weeks to get back to me. They asked for availability through a calendar system, and then failed to respond until after all the days I nominated had passed (around 2 weeks). A while later, they asked for more availability. By this time, I had an offer somewhere else, and wasn't going to wait, so I used their system to tell them I would not be continuing. They ignored this, continued to ask me for availability, then eventually emailed me a very bland "thank you for your time, but we've gone with someone else" email. I didn't even talk to someone, and they're thanking me for my time preparing? As far as I can see, the entire process is automated, and not very well. I'm guessing this means their HR team is short-staffed and under pressure, so don't expect too much when applying here.

The interview process took a bit longer than expected because of the holidays, but overall it was a really good experience. The recruiter was super communicative and helpful with any questions or updates I had. There wasn't an HR screening, we went straight into the hiring manager interview. Then there was a call with the recruiter to discuss salary expectations and some initial questions. After that, I had a take-home assignment and a follow-up call to present it, which mainly involved product and engineering folks, maybe a panel. Finally, there was an interview with the CPO, and then an offer call.
