Behavioral Technical Other

The interviewer didn't call me at the scheduled time. I had to reach out to their Talent Acquisition team to reschedule. The next day, the same guy called me (5 minutes late), and was immediately confrontational asking why we didn't connect at our original interview time. I explained that their system must have goofed up entering my number. They had my correct number because I'd gotten a voicemail from them before. So this guy messed up my phone # and had the nerve to blame me for not being available when I waited for his call for 30 minutes. We continued with the phone interview where he asked typical bogus questions. At the end, I asked basic job questions about forklift certification, typical OT hours, etc. He couldn't answer any of them, saying I'd have to ask the local hiring manager. Talking to him was like talking to an NPC – no personality, dumb questions like he never saw my resume, and a bad overall first impression. Even if they offered me the job, I'd decline based on this. I don't get how a recruiter can mess up such an easy phone interview, especially with someone as personable and friendly as me. The company missed out on a great new employee because they have this recruiter.

Technical Behavioral Presentation

The candidate selection process was well-thought-out, though the gaps between interviews were a bit long, mainly due to interviewer availability. The phone interviews were insightful and detailed. The onsite interview was positive and made a good impression; the people seemed genuinely interested and engaged. It was disappointing to encounter repeat questions from the phone interviews and interviewers who lacked knowledge about the specific position. However, the interviewers who were knowledgeable were fantastic and asked very specific questions. I interviewed with Directors, a VP, and the plant manager. The atmosphere was professional and serious. It seems they are currently undergoing BPA and restructuring. I would be happy to work for them.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was a half-day event, running from 9 AM to 1:30 PM, involving interviews with five different people. They asked general interview questions, including behavioral questions like 'Tell me about a time.' I sent thank you emails to everyone interviewed me, but received no acknowledgment. The hiring manager didn't respond to my follow-up about the position after waiting a week past the expected response time. After multiple unanswered calls and voicemails to the recruiter, I emailed her a week and a half later, and she finally responded stating they had chosen another candidate. This lack of communication was unprofessional, especially given the half-day time commitment for the interview.

Had an initial phone chat with the recruiter, then a phone interview with the hiring manager, followed by an in-person interview with the hiring manager. The recruiter was pretty consistently late for every scheduled call, usually without explaining why. She'd also go quiet for weeks at a time before getting back with updates.
