Software Engineering Intern
I did an online assessment with 2-3 LeetCode questions on Hackerrank, which were 2 Easy/Medium and 1 Medium. Then I had 2 back-to-back 1-hour coding interviews on CoderPad. In the first one, I got a medium LeetCode question but got stuck. In the second, I got a medium-hard LeetCode question that was tricky due to how it was worded. I took a while to solve it, so I only ended up doing 2 questions in total, though they probably had more in mind.
- A question that could be solved with a 2 pointer approach
- A question solvable with HashMap or Recursion
Software Intern
Did an online assessment with three coding problems: a tough DP one, a sliding window string problem that was easy/medium, and another tough graph problem. Got the first two done perfectly, but the graph one timed out on some test cases. Still waiting to hear back.
- One leetcode hard dp problem
- One leetcode easy/medium sliding window string problem (vowel substring)
- One graph problem probably leetcode hard.
Software Intern
I had a code test with 3 algorithm problems. Then, there were 2 technical interviews, and each had an algorithm challenge on codepad. I struggled with the first technical interview, taking a while to debug the challenge, but I passed and handled optimization requests smoothly in the second one. I got rejected 3 weeks later.
- What is the longest common sequence?
- How would you approach servers resource allocation, considering time complexity and optimization?
