It was a clear and straightforward interview process. I first spoke with two recruiters who seemed to really understand Snowbird's business, its people, and what the role requires. After that, I had a Zoom interview with some Snowbird staff. The whole thing was well-managed and simple.

First I had a phone call, then we met up in person at their corporate office in Cottonwood. A few days later, I met with the Manager at the Aerie. We talked about the basics of wine and expectations. Then he asked me to make three drinks without checking my current knowledge first. I didn't know one of the drinks and he then tried to get me to serve people. It felt like a trick to hire more servers, and honestly, it was a waste of my time.

Sent one email to the company, then got a call from the recruiter. After that, had two phone interviews. Then flew out to SLC for a two-night stay at the mountain resort where I was offered the job. Slam bam. Should've asked for more money. I brought a stronger work ethic to the company, and I was vastly overqualified.

Hiring is pretty easy now because lots of people leave. You used to need over 2 years of experience, but not anymore. You'll meet with the Director, and then you'll do a hands-on massage (I didn't even get to use a table!). If they both like your massage, you're hired.
