I got contacted by a recruiter from Techmahindra-India about a Web Marketing Manager position for Snapfish in London. I did 2 interviews in December and was told I'd hear back by January 1st. Since then, it's been radio silence, which is super weird because nobody's even given me an update or told me anything about decisions. All I wanted was an update after putting in time for interviews and tests with Snapfish, and got nothing back! I feel it's really disrespectful and unprofessional not to even get an email saying there's no update. It's basic courtesy, and I expected better from Techmahindra and Snapfish.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty extensive. I went through three rounds of Zoom interviews, and each one seemed to go really well. After the last interview, I was asked to complete two design challenges within 3 days. Once I submitted those, I was told I'd hear something soon. I followed up with HR and they said I'd hear either way by the next week, but I never heard back. I followed up again after a week and was completely ignored. They never got back to me, not even to say they'd moved on with someone else. I'm disappointed because I thought it was a good fit, but mostly I'm disappointed by the lack of professionalism. It's rude and unprofessional to have someone interview with three different people, tell them you'll let them know either way, and then ignore them and never get back to them.

It was a typical phone screen, followed by an onsite interview with the hiring manager, the team I'd be working with, and other teams. The team members were nice, but the hiring manager was super unprofessional and rude. He kept grilling me on agile/JIRA like he was trying to trick me or prove me wrong. The worst part was the ghosting. Since one team member wasn't there that day, he asked if I could talk to her the next day, and then never got back to me. You asked me about following up to finish the interview, but you couldn't even be bothered to tell me you weren't moving forward? That would have been polite. Even if they offered me the job, I wouldn't work for a manager like that.

It wasn't too much... I had an intense phone screen. Then an intensive interview with their top engineer and another engineer from the development group. The other interviewers were pretty relaxed. I also had another phone screen with a nice engineer who has since left for a much better job at a much better company.
