They had a pretty good interview process. It involved a first and second interview, one of which was in person and the other was over video chat. They asked relevant questions and I felt comfortable, plus I got a good feel for the role and company.

So first, we had this easy icebreaker chat. Then, I tackled a technical test to show what I know. After that, I had a good talk with the actual team about tech stuff and how we'd solve problems together. Then, there was a casual chat about fitting in with the team and how we all work together. Lastly, I met with the management to make sure we were on the same page. They did a reference check before officially offering me the job. It was a pretty good process overall.

Technical Other

It was the worst experience in my career. It seemed quick at first but then nothing. After several weeks and a couple of follow-ups, I had no reply from the recruiter. I finally reached out to the hiring manager to get the details for next steps as they were very vague. He notified me that I needed to do an assessment and that final round interviews would still be a week or more away. I was invited to final round interviews that involved several VP’s and Directors. Then a request to do another self-survey and an intense rigorous reference process. Then nothing for another week or more. By the end I didn’t want to work for such an annoying company. 2 months is too long for a hiring process and I wouldn’t be surprised if they lose several people to other companies because of it.

Behavioral Technical

So I had two interviews for the UX Analyst role at Snap One, and it was pretty good overall. Both times, they asked me behavioral questions. I was told I was moving on to a third round, a panel interview, and was supposed to hear back in a couple weeks... but then, radio silence. I tried following up, but never heard back and they didn't reply to my emails. I guess that's how things are now, but it's still a bummer. An automated rejection would have been better.
