Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

I applied in late December and had a recruiter call in early January. The recruiter mostly chatted about their time at the company and asked a few questions. After that, I moved on to a case study and a chat with the hiring manager. I sent the case study back in a few days, and after that, I heard nothing for two weeks despite following up. Eventually, I got an email to schedule with the hiring manager, which I did at the end of January. Then I had a panel interview with the team in early February. They told me they had two more interviews to do and then I'd hear back. Two more weeks passed, and I followed up again, only to be told they were in a 'waiting period' for executive approval and I'd hear back by EOD. No call. Another two weeks later, the recruiter asked me to meet the hiring manager again because it had been so long. I met the hiring manager mid-March, and a few days later, I met the executive. A week after that, I followed up and got no response. Another week later, I got a generic email saying hiring was paused by the board. The whole thing took almost three months. I felt ghosted so many times and never got responses when I followed up, even when they promised to get back to me by a certain time. It was unprofessional and a waste of my time. I hope they improve their candidate experience.

Behavioral Presentation

Initial screening was great. The recruiter shared a lot of information about the company and role and really made it sound like I was a great fit. Second round with the hiring manager went well but she implied that I might be a better fit for another team. I followed up with the recruiter and didn’t receive a reply but the following week received a canned email saying they would be moving forward with other candidates. Days later (Thursday) I receive an email from the recruiter saying that email was sent to me in error and that they do want to move me to the next round in the interview process. This process involved completing a homework assignment. I was asked to complete it by the following Monday, this gave me only a few days to complete. After spending most of my weekend working on the assignment I submitted it to the recruiter and he confirmed receipt. Then nothing. I followed up multiple times and didn’t get a reply. A couple of weeks later I see they reposted the position.

Behavioral Technical Other

I applied for the Product Operations Analyst position in June, and after 20 days, I had an HR interview. The HR person was vague and unprofessional. I used the STAR method and focused on leadership, technical, and managerial skills. They asked for my salary expectations and said they'd pay the lower end of the range I provided. Then, they ghosted me for 25 days. After many follow-ups, I got a second interview with the hiring manager, who acted similarly. I felt they weren't serious or were just toying with me. They ghosted me again for 30 days and then rejected me in September. The whole experience from June to September was frustrating, especially since they ended up rejecting me. It makes me wonder how they treat clients if this is how they treat candidates.
