It was a single interview, about half an hour long, with standard interview questions, not super technical. I got to ask a lot of questions at the end.

Behavioral Technical

The interview was with five people, three of whom were from my specific discipline. We had a pleasant and professionally appropriate discussion about the actual work being done in the unit. When I asked about compensation at the end, the program coordinator who had been quiet said they don't discuss that and it could be handled later in the hiring process. Even though they offered me the position, I was highly qualified, really wanted the job, and was willing to relocate, the salary was extremely low. One attempt to negotiate resulted in the recruiter telling me they couldn't meet my market-appropriate expectations.

The interview process was okay. I interviewed for about a half hour answering questions about my strengths and weaknesses, my college experience, and how my skills apply to the job. I was interviewed by a team of people who took turns asking questions, and it was a phone interview.
