After applying, I had one interview where they asked about my background and my reasons for applying to this program. It was important to show that I understood the 'why' behind my application and how it connects to my long-term aspirations.

The hiring process took a long time, about five months total. It started with an online application. Then, about a month later, I got a screening questionnaire. This questionnaire asked about my salary expectations, around $50,000, which was low considering my sales background. Two weeks after sending it back, I had a phone interview. Another month passed, and then I had an in-person interview. It was a committee interview, not one-on-one like I thought. The final interview was about four months after I applied. Finally, after five months, they offered me the job at $50,000. We negotiated, and the final offer was $51,000 a year, with no commission or bonus.

The interview process was pretty easy and conversational. They don't ask any technical questions, but they will ask about your schedule, so you should be willing to be flexible. They just want to know that you'll be able to cover shifts for other people if needed.

I had one video interview and then another in-person interview where I met with a group. Both interviews went pretty well, I liked the questions they asked and how we interacted in both. My main frustration was that they didn't communicate or follow up well. After the first interview, I didn't hear back for about 4 weeks. After the second interview, they said I'd hear back after the weekend. That didn't happen. I finally got a response a week later. So, by the time I got the rejection email, I was already past it. It's safe to say I wasn't upset when I didn't get the job. They need to do a better job communicating with potential candidates!
