It was really conversational and interesting. They had me share more about my portfolio, my experiences, and about myself. They also gave a small mini-test that assessed different soft skills.

SMMA took about 2-3 weeks to get back to me about a second interview. I figured I wasn't moving forward, so I stopped waiting. The second interview went well, but I never heard anything back after it. It would be nice to at least get a notification if I didn't get the job.

It was a chill, chatty interview, about an hour long, then we toured the office for 30 mins. We talked a lot about what SMMA could offer me and what I could offer them. The people seemed nice, but the work environment felt old-fashioned with cubicles. I got a verbal offer right then and there, and they confirmed it in an email, but no official offer letter. They said I could decide later, but then they totally ghosted me when I followed up.

The interview process began with a virtual Teams meeting, and then I had an on-site interview that included an office tour. I met with people in the department and also people not in the department. The whole thing was put together really well, from when I first applied and got screened to the last interviews. Everyone I met was nice and knew their stuff, and they really seemed interested in me.
