Behavioral

The interview process was really good, felt warm and friendly. It started online, then moved to a face-to-face meeting, and finished with a final interview with a senior partner. The whole thing happened over three weeks, and the recruiter stayed in touch throughout.

Behavioral Other

The process was good overall, but I didn't really like it because they asked some strange questions. I also wasn't a fan of how they didn't really guide me with questions and such. I didn't know where to go and they made me sit in a room for a while.

I was contacted by Smith's digital forge via Linkedin for a DevOps role. But by the end of the interviews, before they gave me a verbal offer, it turned into a build and release position. During salary negotiation, they revoked the offer because they said they were changing the role. This was one of the worst interview experiences I've had in my 20 years in the bay area. The whole process, from the first call to the verbal offer and then the revocation, took over 2 months. I had 5 onsite interviews, talked to 1 HR person, and another remote engineer. I received positive feedback throughout.

Technical Other

First, you fill out an online application. Then, you call the HR of that store and let them know you're interested. After that, they call you back for an interview and a bench test. Sometimes two bench tests are needed.
