The process was great, about 3 to 4 rounds total. It started with the basic application, then some literacy and numeracy tests. After that, there was a telephone interview, and finally an assessment day. I got a good insight into the business throughout the whole thing, which isn't something I'd experienced before when interviewing.

First round was a technical round. The interviewer was rude and did not show professionalism during interview process questioning my skills and abilities. I found it to be abusive. Hope the organization takes care of such details going forward. Company should look at overall personality of a candidate and not just the technical skills they possess before hiring for their company. Hope the company discuss with the interview panel and make sure they do not insult and do not overreact while interviewing candidates.

After applying to Smiths Power, a Smiths Groups company, the hiring manager reached out to schedule an interview. The interview was initially set for Skype but was later changed to a phone call. One of the first things he asked was when I received my degrees, which seemed to be his way of checking my age. I sent an email expressing I was no longer interested.

  • When did you receive your degrees?
