Client Success Manager
I had an initial screening with HR, and if that went well, I then met with the hiring team for a video interview. I have that video interview today, and I'm hoping it's the last step before getting an offer this week.

Account Manager
I sent in my resume and got a callback within 24 hours from a nice recruiter. A couple of days later, I spoke with someone else, and that went well. Then I went in for the final interview, which was strange. I noticed a lack of diversity there. After a short wait, the manager came in and interviewed me. I answered his questions honestly and mentioned my 20 years of sales experience. He asked about my resume and past experience. I got a weird vibe from him but thought my experience and drive would land me the job, but it didn't.
- What's your reason for leaving your current job?
Account Manager
This was a pretty typical interview process. Since it was during COVID, everything was done online and it took about a month from start to finish. First, I chatted with HR. Then, I spoke with some Team Leads. Finally, I met with the Director. Everyone I talked to was really friendly and open, and they happily answered all my questions. The interviews felt more like a 'Why you should work with us' kind of vibe rather than a 'Why we should hire you' interrogation. The questions were pretty standard, the kind that any current sales rep or account manager could probably answer without much thought. The main thing is to let your personality shine through.
- What's prompting your departure from your current employer?
- If you were to join us, what changes would you implement?
- Could you share your career aspirations?
Customer Service Representative
I applied through indeed and got a call a few days later. The phone interview explained my daily tasks. The recruiter said I was a good fit, but the actual interview was brief, with two people. One of them cut me off, which felt rude for a recruiter. They said they'd contact me in two days about the job. I tried to follow up but got no response. I wish they'd respect candidates with a yes or no. I never heard back, but it seemed like a regular telemarketing job overall.
