Had a good phone interview, then scheduled a face-to-face meeting with four people. Everything seemed positive, and I was told I'd hear from the hiring manager that night or the next morning. When I asked if working 8am-6pm was expected, they lost interest. I never got a call from the hiring manager, but I did receive an email explaining they weren't moving forward, for reasons unrelated to my interview or the position. They've relocated to Somerville, which has expensive parking and dining options; many employees apparently complain about the cost of working in that area.

The interview process was really smooth and convenient. They were flexible with my schedule, which I appreciated since I didn't want to miss work for an interview. I can't say enough good things about the sales leadership at SmartBear. They have a great team atmosphere and everyone is working towards a clear, common goal.

I got invited to apply by the recruiter and submitted my resume and cover letter online. Then I had a 10-minute phone screening that actually went for 30 minutes, which usually is a good sign. After that, I had a phone interview with three managers and one sales director. Two of them were nice, but one wasn't. They asked standard interview questions. I asked a lot of questions too, but got really inconsistent answers about expected activity levels, training duration, benefits, and commission calculations. One interviewer even said they didn't plan on staying with the company long-term.
