It was pretty straightforward. There were 3 rounds, followed by a final HR round. Roughly half the questions were technical, and the other half focused on soft skills. I also completed a brief coding exercise. The interviews were conducted over Zoom.

Technical Coding

The first step was a technical aptitude test covering Java and SQL, with 25 questions for each. After that, shortlisted candidates moved on to a face-to-face technical round held offline. In this interview, the interviewer presented a paper with some pseudo tables and SQL queries, and I was asked to identify any errors or incomplete aspects of both the tables and the queries.

There were two interview stages. The first was a technical round where they asked for the logic to reverse a string, followed by database and SQL questions, and finally a question about cloud computing. The second stage was an HR and Managerial round, which was a casual conversation covering topics like your motivation for the role and the company.

I got a call from Naukri for the BI Trainee Developer role. The interview process started with a test, then a group discussion (GD), followed by a technical interview and finally an HR interview. I went through all the rounds. The GD topics were quite general. The technical round went smoothly. The HR round was more of a casual chat, covering my hobbies and general interaction.
