I applied, and within days a Smarsh TAP reached out for a phone screening. That happened the next week, and then I had to do two online tests. The week after, I interviewed with the hiring manager over the phone, and then the next week was a panel interview. A week later, the TAP called to let me know they gave the job to someone else who'd accepted. They gave me feedback, which was great. I was really impressed with how professional and fast they were, and how nicely they told me I didn't get the offer.

Behavioral

My experience with Smarsh was terrible, completely unprofessional and slow. I had an initial interview with HR that seemed to go well. They said they would give feedback to the hiring manager immediately. I followed up after two weeks, and they replied that HR was just submitting it to the hiring manager. Six weeks later, Smarsh HR ghosted me. It was completely unprofessional and inhumane. It's cruel to waste a candidate's time and impact their mental state during such a stressful period, leaving them to wonder. I've already contacted Smarsh leadership about this unacceptable experience. It's absolutely cruel to people looking for employment, who give up their valuable time to interview with your company (without pay) and then get ghosted.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process began with a HR screening, then I spoke with the hiring manager, the head of the department, and some team members. They made sure to explain the next steps clearly, and the HR lead was with me the whole time, giving me feedback. It was easy to talk to everyone, and I got a sense of the culture pretty quickly.
